Hi Lyle, What is a Gy 401 ? Sounds like A part for a Helli, is that right..?

Yes Mike, It's a gyro for a heli. I have one kicking around but with out rudder servo. Don't know what it's worth at the moment?. bought it with the servo about 3 years ago for 299 new. works good, willing to part with it. PM me lyle and make me an offer.

You know me Wayne, I'm a planker. But some Helli pilot may be looking for a gyro.I've even heard that some planes have gyros in the tail to make take-offs easier.

Hey Mike, Planker yes, better know as an airboat captain
. Not only do they use them in there tails for take offs, I know someone that uses it for knife edges mixed with the elevator and rudder. Untill I saw him put it into the ground because he was to slow flicking the switch.
