Spektrum Module help.

Postby combat_pilot » Sat Feb 12, 2011 12:25 pm

I need to know if the button on the rear of the module is a BIND/Range test button.
On my Spektrum (DX7) it specifies it, but on the module and receiver (conversion) package for my JR 8103TX it does not.

When I start a range test, standing next to the heli everything works fine. When I walk away (90+ ft) and start checking controls (pressing button in) and moving sticks, it does not. At this point in time I don’t know the distance that I lose control between heli and transmitter.

Any help in understanding what is going wrong here would be great. May I have a faulty module\receiver?
Can someone tell me where my throttle hold switch is.... I'm about to crash.

That button on the back is for both binding and range testing. With the button pressed in I usually get about 75 feet back from the receiver before I notice any twitching. When I let the button up it goes to normal. Now I don't know if 75 ft. is good or bad. But when I fly everything is good.Check your manual over once again there should be a section about range checking.

Good Luck
